It’s pretty much impossible to fathom just how much oil the world uses over the course of a year. For starters, you have to think about all of the gas that every single car on the planet consumed over that time. Given that there are billions of cars on the road, it’s a number so large that it’s hard to envision. Then you would have to add all of the oil that’s needed to produce all of the plastics in the world, the oil that’s used in the petrochemical processes humans do, and the oil that’s used in the manufacturing of various things. The point here is that very few things are as integral to the modern way of life as oil, and nothing is more important. Without it, the life people live today would grind to a halt.
Well, without industrial construction companies, oil production would grind to a halt. There are several steps in the process of creating refined oil and/or gas that can be used to power a car, create a plastic, or manufacture some type of good. The first step, of course, is to locate where an oil deposit might be, and the next step is to get it out of the ground. Once that happens, it’s got to be transported to a refinery where the oil can be refined into various oil-based goods. From there, it’s shipped to the necessary parties, i.e. the producers of good, gas stations, governments, etc. Seeing as though the entire world relies heavily on gasoline and plastics, this process is the lifeblood of the modern world.
Of course, none of this would be possible were it not for the industrial construction companies that make the refineries and plants where the oil is processed. These plants are incredibly complex facilities, with miles of pipes running all over the place. Each pipe carries different things inside of them, and together they create a complex system that drives an even more complex chemical process. Some pipes carry liquids, others carry gases, and some just carry water. If you’ve ever been just outside the city of Houston or spent some time in Louisiana, then you’ve likely seen a refinery or two. At some of them, the pipes can go on for miles.
Were it not for the companies handling the pipe and pipe bending fabrication for these refineries, oil production in the US would grind to a halt. Oil companies know a lot about how to create a facility where they can refine a huge amount of oil effectively and safely, but they don’t know much about actually making that facility. They rely heavily on the expertise of industrial construction companies like Turner Industries to fabricate those pipes and build those facilities. The world of today is a world that relies heavily on oil, and in turn the oil companies rely heavily on businesses like Turner Industries. When there’s an issue with a pipe and a refinery can’t operate, it’s the industrial construction companies that get that facility up and running again.
